HAIKO CORNELISSEN ARCHITECTEN is an Amsterdam based office with architects, designers, builders and thinkers operating within the fields of architecture, urbanism, research and design. The firm is currently involved in various projects throughout Europe and North America, with the US projects strictly limited to design.
With over a decade of experience working under the world-renowned architects Rem Koolhaas and Steven Holl, Haiko and Project Director Hans Maarten provide their clients with a strong tradition of excellence and innovation. Haiko Cornelissen - Principal
Born in Amsterdam, Haiko Cornelissen is a Dutch architect licensed in the Netherlands (currently not licensed in the US), who studied at MIT and Harvard before graduating in 2004 from the Technical University of Delft. From 2003 – 2010, Haiko has worked for Artefactory in Paris, OMA in Rotterdam and Steven Holl Architects in New York and Beijing. He is teaching at Parsons the New School for Design, has taught at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture GSAPP and is also a visiting critic at Harvard, TU Delft, Cooper Union and Pratt Institute and has lectured at Harvard and the Brooklyn Experimental Media Center.
