HAIKO CORNELISSEN ARCHITECTEN is a New York based office with architects, designers, builders and thinkers operating within the fields of architecture, urbanism, research and design. The firm is currently involved in various projects throughout Europe and North America, with the US projects strictly limited to design.

With over a decade of experience working under the world-renowned architects Rem Koolhaas and Steven Holl, Haiko and his team provide their clients with a strong tradition of excellence and innovation. From designing dinner tables to skyscrapers, Haiko Cornelissen Architecten strive to find the most groundbreaking yet functional solutions for their clients’ needs.

Haiko Cornelissen Architecten melds the art of design with data-driven, research-based solutions to translate clients’ specifications into the most creative, cost-effective, and elegant spaces possible.

Born in Amsterdam, Haiko Cornelissen is an architect licensed in the Netherlands and US, who studied at MIT and Harvard before graduating in 2004 from the Technical University of Delft. Haiko has worked for Artefactory in Paris, OMA in Rotterdam and Steven Holl Architects in New York and Beijing. He is teaching at Parsons the New School for Design, has taught at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture GSAPP and is also a visiting critic at Harvard, TU Delft, Cooper Union and Pratt Institute and has lectured at Harvard and the Brooklyn Experimental Media Center.
